ALEX Neil believed Macaulay Langstaff earned his start at Ipswich Town last Friday.
Neil decided to go two up front for the Boxing Day game at The Den, giving Langstaff his second league start of the season.
He paired Mihailo Ivanovic, who has mostly featured as a lone striker since Josh Coburn sustained a quad injury in October. The game ended 0-0, with Camiel Neghli’s late goal thrown out for offside.
