Broad daylight kidnapping in Kingsbury as masked men force man into van.

Three masked men allegedly forced a guy into a white panel van in Kingsbury, in what police are describing as an abduction.

The event occurred on Church Lane on Monday, February 16, and resulted in an investigation involving expert detectives.

The Metropolitan Police Service responded to complaints of a kidnapping on Church Lane in Kingsbury at 08:41hrs on Monday, February 16. Officers responded, and an investigation was initiated, overseen by expert detectives.

“A man was said to have been forced into a white panel van by three masked males.

“The London Ambulance Service called police to Wells Park Road, Upper Sydenham, at 19:03hrs on the same day.

“Officers arrived and spoke with a man in his forties, who revealed he had been kidnapped and assaulted. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were classified as non-life threatening or life-changing.

“Our investigations continue, but no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is requested to call police at 101 and quote reference 01/7178523/26. Information can also be released anonymously by calling Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

“We are aware that an incident of this nature will cause concern, but we want to reassure people in Kingsbury that this is believed to be a targeted and isolated incident.”
