Hartlepool businesses forced to close as powercut hits Marina.
A number of Hartlepool companies have been forced to lock their doors as a power outage affects trade throughout the Marina.
An unforeseen power outage has reportedly affected 96 houses and businesses in the TS24 district of town, which stretches from Mainsforth Terrace to Middleton Road.
According to Northern Powergrid, buildings lost power soon before 9 a.m. on Monday, February 23, and the issue is not likely to be repaired until 1 p.m. Several stores and businesses in the vicinity have been closed, including the National Museum of the Royal Navy and Jackson’s Wharf.
