Roman Way Crayford near Sainsbury’s police chase – Boys arrested.

Two boys were apprehended after police pursued a car through Crayford.

The pursuit began when a suspected stolen car failed to stop for cops on patrol on Church Road in Bexley at approximately 11.10 a.m.

yesterday (March 3). During the chase, the vehicle is said to have sped recklessly through residential streets, colliding with six cars.

Yesterday, Roman Way One Way Street near Crayford Sainsbury’s was sealed off when the vehicle came to a halt.

The driver, a 17-year-old kid, was arrested on the scene on suspicion of aggravated car theft, driving without a licence or insurance, and inflicting intentional annoyance, alarm, or distress.

He has since been released pending an investigation. The passenger, a 15-year-old boy, was also arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and failure to stop when instructed.

He has since been discharged without further action. No injuries were recorded. Anyone with information is requested to call police at 101 and quote CAD2679/03MAR26.
