Supporters of Aston Villa can watch the first game of our 2025–26 preseason calendar live and for free on VillaTV against Walsall.
On Wednesday night (ko 7.30pm), Unai Emery’s team takes on the Saddlers in our yearly summer opening at Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
As the Villans prepare for another season of domestic and European competition, this is the first of eight games that you can watch live on VillaTV with Memberships and Match Passes.
Anyone with an Essential Membership (formerly known as a Digital Account) can watch tonight’s Walsall match for free.
As we get closer to the 2025–2026 campaign, Adult and Video members will be able to watch every preseason game as part of their membership.

The club’s three games in the USA are available to all paid members (Adult, Video, Video Lite, Women’s Team, and Junior) as part of their package.
Every other match pass costs £5.99, and in order to get one, you have to be at least an Essential Member.
Instead of buying match-by-match passes, fans may save money by purchasing a Video subscription, which also offers them access to behind-the-scenes footage and in-depth video content all season long.
You can watch every preseason game if you have a valid VillaTV+ subscription or a Season Ticket.
*Please be aware that some matches will not be available in some countries.
