Four arrested in connection with human trafficking and drugs offences in Dundee.
As part of an ongoing operation in Dundee, two men, ages 35 and 34, and two women, ages 32 and 29, were arrested on charges of human trafficking and drug possession.
Around 9.30 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, officers executed three search warrants at residential properties in Lochee, St Mary’s, and Douglas. A search warrant was also executed at a business in Douglas.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
Detective Inspector Keir Smith stated: “Today’s action demonstrates our commitment to combating human trafficking and drug offences, which have no place in Tayside communities.
“We collaborate closely with our partners, not only locally, but nationally, to raise public awareness and ensure that victims receive the assistance they require.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities, and those who import, sell, and supply will seize any opportunity to exploit vulnerable people. Police Scotland is dedicated to disrupting the activities of organised crime groups and making Scotland a hostile environment in which to operate.
“This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.”
