Victim asked to come forward after assault by driver of Lexus in Dundee city centre.

Police are investigating an incident involving a driver of a white Lexus on Commercial Street. An appeal has been made following the assault of a man in Dundee’s city centre.

Police are looking for the man driver of a white Lexus following an alleged incident on Commercial Street’s pedestrianised portion at 2.30pm on Saturday.

The two men reportedly spoke before the male driver parked his car. Following the victim’s fall to the ground, he reportedly assaulted the other man. Police stated the victim had not contacted them.

The victim is described as white, in his 60s or 70s, standing between 5’8ft and 5’9ft tall, with a slim build and white hair. It is believed he was dressed in a blue blazer and dark trousers.

The male motorist was described as white, standing between 5’9ft and 5’10ft tall, with a thin body and short dark hair. He is believed to have been wearing light blue denim jeans and black and white trainers.

According to Constable Paterson of the Dundee city centre policing squad, “The victim of the assault has not yet come forward, and I would appeal to them to contact us quoting reference CR/419309/25.”
