After losing to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League, Liverpool has now dropped nine of their previous twelve games across all competitions, including six of the previous seven in the Premier League. As a result, they urgently need to turn things around.

The Reds will next face West Ham at London Stadium at 14:05 local time in an attempt to resume winning ways and relieve some of Arne Slot’s strain before a hectic month.

Here’s how the reigning champs may line up against the teams fighting for relegation.

Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker has resumed training and is anticipated to take Giorgi Mamardashvili’s place in goal for the Reds.

Defenders: After learning that Ibrahima Konate’s planned transfer to Real Madrid will not go through, the Frenchman will need to make a strong effort to persuade Liverpool to give him the compensation he is due. He will probably start alongside Virgil van Dijk because of their lack of depth in central defense.

Due to Conor Bradley’s injury, Curtis Jones may continue to play right back, while Milos Kerkez is likely to be chosen over Andy Robertson on the left.

Isak will take Ekitike’s spot

Midfielders: Due to Florian Wirtz’s injury, Dominik Szoboszlai is also expected to start as the attacking midfielder for Liverpool, despite the fact that Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch have appeared unsteady in the double pivot for the first time in multiple games together.

The favorites to play on the left and right sides, respectively, are Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah.

Forwards: Hugo Ekitike was substituted out of the most recent game due to a back ailment; although he is fine, these problems have the potential to worsen.

Because he is still trying to get his first Premier League goal for Liverpool after joining from Newcastle United earlier this year, he may miss this game and Alexander Isak may replace him.
