Jim Goodwin admits the Dundee United locker room was “very flat” after the opportunity for a thrilling win over Rangers was taken away with eight seconds to play.
The Tangerines were ahead deep into injury time thanks to magnificent strikes from Zac Sapsford and Amar Fatah, sandwiched by a thunderbolt from Jayden Meghoma.
However, referee David Dickinson pointed to the spot for Will Ferry’s challenge on Max Aarons, only seconds after the Tangerines wasted possession deep in the Rangers’ half.
