The stunning Dundee United stat that underlines remarkable strategy U-turn.

The Terrors’ games have been everything from boring. Dundee United are a vastly different animal from last season.

Opta’s statistics show that no side in the Scottish Premiership has had as many shots as the Tangerines. Similarly, matches involving the Tangerines have produced more goals than any other team.

For better or worse, the campaign thus far has been a 180-degree swing from the dogged, pragmatic team of 2024/25; this revitalised outfit is capable of both thrilling attacking and porous defending.

Courier Sport has crunched all of the critical stats ahead of Saturday’s trip to St Mirren.
