Union Street Central
Since permitted cars were moved to the new setts’ highway on the east section of the site, the council reports that people have been walking on the roadway rather than the footway.
Walking on the live roadway is strictly banned, and pedestrians must always obey traffic rules and utilise designated footways. The highway is solely for allowed vehicles, and disregarding the safety precautions puts lives at danger.

Work is underway along the north footway from the former RBS site, heading westward towards Correction Wynd.
Since permitted cars were switched over to the new setts’ carriageway on the east section of the property, the council states that there have been concerns with walkers walking on the roadway instead of the footway.
