An Aberdeen financial advisor is set to stand trial for slingshot attacks at a luxury flats development.
Adam Sinclair, 47, has been charged with causing reckless damage to Bayview House on Queen’s Road in the city’s west end.
Sinclair allegedly damaged a number of windows with a catapault earlier this year. He denies all charges.
Luxury development
The property, which was once home to Aberdeen Grammar’s rugby club, is now part of Diamond Property Developments Ltd’s luxury Bayview Estates development.
Sinclair, whose address on court papers was Wrights Lane, Aberdeen, is also accused of putting the public in danger by firing a catapault.
According to the charge, he carried out the attack between May 22 and June 3 of this year and was in possession of the offensive weapon, a catapault, at Kittybrewster Police Station.
