Adrian Mariappa returns to Watford in academy role.
Adrian Mariappa, a former Watford player, has returned to the club as the Under-21 assistant coach. Mariappa takes on the role in place of Dan Gosling, who will take over as Under-18s manager.
Mariappa left the Hornets in the summer of 2021, at the end of his second spell, after breaking through the academy in the mid-2000s.
The Hornets now have five former first-team players working in their youth setup, including academy director Richard Johnson, head of coaching Micah Hyde, and Under-18s assistant Lloyd Doyley.
