Bethel Gospel Hall in Gorleston sold at auction for £107,000.
A Victorian church in a Norfolk town has sold at auction for £107,000. Following an online bidding battle, East Anglia Auction House sold Gorleston’s Bethel Mission Hall.
The facility, which had been utilised as a preaching hall for decades, has now been sold after sitting vacant for some years.
Located on Pier Walk, near the beachfront, the property has a variety of prospective uses, including conversion to residential, subject to Great Yarmouth Borough Council approval.

The sellers had highlighted the potential of purchasing the detached structure as “an exciting opportunity to give this building a new lease on life”.
The ground floor features a huge main hall, kitchen, and male and female toilets with separate washrooms, as well as a galleried landing upstairs.
The site has a recommended price of between £80,000 and £100,000.
