Blackburn and Burnley urgent treatment centres busy warning.
East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT) has issued a warning that patients may have to wait more than 10 hours to be seen at several health sites in the region.
The ELHT issued the warning on Tuesday, stating that the accident and emergency department at Royal Blackburn Hospital is particularly busy.
It advises people to only visit A&E in an emergency and to examine which health provider is best suited to their condition, such as minor injury units or pharmacies.
