Body found in river near Prince of Wales Road in Norwich.

The body of a guy has been discovered in a river near Norwich.

Police were dispatched at 12.47pm today to reports of a body in the River Wensum at Foundary Bridge, near Prince of Wales Road. A cordon is in place on the footpath, and emergency personnel are still on the scene.

Part of Prince of Wales Road is closed. Police say they are investigating the man’s identify and how they ended there in the river. The body was taken from the water, and the individual was pronounced dead on the scene.
