Burnt-out car to be moved after months in park.
A car that was set on fire and abandoned in a town park nearly four months ago will be removed.
Charles Pais, 73, who lives on Icknield Way in Luton, said the car had been on the nearby recreation ground for about 15 weeks.
He stated that it posed a health and safety risk and was “being used as a bin by the public, which will attract vermin”.
A spokesperson for Luton Council stated, “We understand residents’ concerns and appreciate their patience as we work to safely remove the vehicle.”
