Bushey takeaway given one-star food hygiene rating.

A Bushey takeout has been told it requires urgent upgrades after obtaining a poor food hygiene assessment.

Sakura, a Chinese takeaway at 23 Harcourt Road, was inspected by Hertsmere Borough Council on July 16, 2025, and received a grade of 1 out of 5, indicating “major improvement required.”

Inspectors discovered that food hygiene and safety, as well as management confidence, needed to be significantly improved, but the premises’ structural standards were deemed good.
