Car lands on roof during crash in Aberdeen’s west end.

A car landed on its roof after a collision in Aberdeen’s west end. The crash was reported at around 6.20 p.m. on Monday.

Police closed Beechgrove Terrace between Beechgrove Avenue and Fountainhall Road for around two hours.

A grey Volvo appears to have landed on its roof following a collision with a white Audi.

Both vehicles were severely damaged, with the Volvo’s back door destroyed. The Audi is shrouded with police tape. It is uncertain if anyone was injured.

The road in Aberdeen was closed, and the site was cordoned off while emergency crews were present. Drivers were encouraged to take other routes.

A spokeswoman for the police stated: “Beechgrove Terrace was closed between Beechgrove Avenue and Fountainhall Road in Aberdeen due to a crash reported to us at approximately 6.20pm on Monday February 23.”
