Cedars Hair and Beauty customers ‘shocked’ by sudden closure.

Customers were astonished and disappointed when a beloved salon unexpectedly shuttered.

Cedars Hair and Beauty in Bushey High Street has now closed, despite operating as usual as late as Saturday (August 30). Some of those present that day reported it was “buzzing,” and there was no indication it was about to close.

A cycle lane on a tiny route has been ruled out due to a travel plan disagreement. Additionally, a vehicle stalled on an island is blocking a main road, prompting a Watford MP supports removing flags hung from lampposts.

Owners Lisa Goldstein and Daniel Jackson stated, “Cedars Salon has always been more than just a business to us; it’s been a place where we’ve built genuine relationships with our clients and staff, and we’ve truly treasured every moment.”

“We tried everything we could to keep the salon running, considering all conceivable solutions to the problems we were encountering.

Unfortunately, circumstances beyond our control rendered it impossible to proceed.” They added:

“This choice has been extremely tough, and we know it will be greatly felt by the many devoted customers who have supported us over the years.

“We will miss the sense of community we had here, and we’re so grateful for the trust our clients placed in us.”

Cedars Hair and Beauty received a 96% recommendation score on Facebook and a 4.5-star rating on Google Reviews, with “satisfied” clients stating that they were “very sad” to see it go.

Another said it was “a bit of a shock” and a “shame”.
