Chair to miss at least two more QPR games.
Ilias Chair will miss QPR’s games against Southampton and Sheffield United.
Chair, who has been troubled by injuries in recent seasons, returned to full training last week and appeared to be on track to be available for the trip to Hull.
However, he did not play in Saturday’s game and is not likely to train this week, leaving him out of Tuesday’s trip to the south coast and this weekend’s game against the Blades.
Justin Obikwu is still sidelined. “Illy (is being assessed) day by day, but he will not be available this week,” said head coach Julien Stephan.
“I hope he comes back soon because he is incredibly essential to the club, but we must be cautious.
“We need to ensure that when he returns, he is at 100%. It’s quite crucial.”Obikwu was bought from Coventry more than a month earlier, after Rangers’ leading scorer Rumarn Burrell suffered a hamstring injury.
However, Obikwu suffered an injury in training shortly after the deal and has yet to make his debut, with Stephan admitting that the club does not know when he will be available.
Meanwhile, R’s winger Kwame Poku has resumed training.
