Clement frustrated by Amass return to Man Utd.
Norwich City manager Philippe Clement has been disappointed by the style of loanee defender Harry Amass’ return to parent club Manchester United.
The 19-year-old secured a loan agreement with the Red Devils in January until the end of the season after spending the first half of the season with Sheffield Wednesday.
Amass sustained a “serious” injury in training, later discovered to be a hamstring injury, only days after making his Canaries debut as a substitute in a win over Championship league leaders Coventry City.
Before Norwich’s encounter against Millwall on Easter Monday, Clement stated that Amass has returned to parent club Manchester United to continue his rehabilitation and is not likely to play again for Norwich before his contract expires.
