Dunne expected to return for QPR next weekend.
QPR captain Jimmy Dunne has been cleared to return to full training and is expected to be available for next weekend’s game against Coventry.
Rangers were expecting news on Dunne and Kwame Poku this morning, and the news on their captain is good, as it had been feared he would be out for a long time.
Dunne missed Rangers’ first Championship match of the season, against Preston, due to a hip injury.
Summer signings Poku made his debut in the 1-1 draw and was substituted during the second half. His injury’s severity is about to be revealed.
Striker Michael Frey has also been unavailable, and Jake Clarke-Salter has been absent for an extended period of time.
Rangers are away to Watford on Saturday.
