Charlton striker Charlie Kelman missed 49 days due to injury. After coming off the bench, he scored after 17 minutes.
The American striker has now scored two goals in two appearances.
A welcome reminder ahead of a busy holiday season of the striker’s ability to boost Charlton’s assault and propel them up the Championship table.
Kelman moved from east to south London in the summer after scoring 28 goals and assisting for Leyton Orient previous season.
He has struggled to light up The Valley thus far, but his substitute performance against Oxford United was just what the doctor ordered, or was it Santa?!
