Eggs thrown at tense anti-immigration and counter protestors stand-off in Dundee.

The two parties met in Stobsmuir Park before crossing Kingsway. Several hundred anti-immigrant protestors and counter-protesters battled in Dundee.

On Saturday afternoon, both parties gathered at Stobsmuir Park before marching to Alloway Terrace on the opposite side of the Kingsway.

They carried a variety of flags and banners, with saltires hanging from lampposts along Pitkerro Road. Protest organiser David Tarbett declared that he wishes to protect “women and children” from “illegal immigrants.”
