Emergency services at Halbeath Park and Ride as area of bushes taped off.

Police, ambulances, and firefighters are all on the site for what is being described as a “police incident” There is a big emergency presence at Halbeath Park and Ride, as an area of shrubs has been cordoned off for a “police incident.”

Police, Scottish Ambulance Service, and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are all on the site.  A van has been covered in a large black tarpaulin, and crime scene investigators have arrived.

An area has been cordoned off, including around several vehicles as well as plants and foliage.

A representative for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service stated, “We received a call from Police Scotland to arrive to Halbeath Park and Ride. “It’s a police incident. We’ve sent one appliance from Lochgelly.”

An eyewitness stated, “I am at the park and ride right now, and I see two police cars, a fire engine, and an ambulance, as well as multiple police officers and a fire officer.

“Police have cordoned off a big area, and a van parked there is covered with a thick black tarpaulin.

“Officers from the crime scene have also arrived. “It looks like something serious is going on.”
