The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has just published its annual Good Beer Guide, which includes a number of bars and pubs in Hartlepool and the surrounding area.

In its 53rd edition, the Good Beer Guide lists almost 4,500 pubs in the UK that serve the greatest real ale, as well as a complete list of breweries.

The whole guide is available from CAMRA for £14.99. This former flower shop was converted back in 2017 and features furniture made from driftwood and a bar made from a Welsh dresser. Named after the rescue of nine crewmen from Danish schoonrer Doris which wrecked off the cost in 1930, this cosy micro pub has two regionally-sourced changing beers.
