Five academy players sign first professional deals with Millwall

Five academy players sign first professional deals with Millwall.

FIVE Millwall second-year scholars for the 2024-25 season have signed their first professional contracts with the club.

George Beaumont, Elias Mansor, Dean Forbes, Oliver Whitby, and Harry Taylor have all pledged their future to the club. Whitby and Mansor are central midfielders, Forbes and Taylor are centre backs, and Beaumont plays wide.

All five played for both the under-18s and the under-21s last season, and they have been training with Kevin Nugent’s under-21s since the start of preseason.

Scott Fitzgerald, Academy Director, stated on the club’s website: “I am very pleased for all five of the lads.

All of them are exciting players, and we’re proud to see them grow with the club and sign their first professional contracts.” He went on: “A few of them have already impressed with the Under 21s side last campaign, so I hope they can continue to develop their game further now they have moved to Calmont Road full-time, working with Kevin Nugent and Paul Robinson.”
