Fourth teenager charged after playground stabbing

A fourth teen was charged following a stabbing at a playground.

Following the discovery of a man stabbed in a playground, a fourth individual has been charged with attempted murder.

On October 12, a 34-year-old guy was found hurt at Watford’s Harwoods Recreation Ground; according to the police, he is still in the hospital. The male suspect, who is 17 years old and from Smethwick, which is close to Birmingham, cannot be identified for legal reasons. According to detectives, the four suspects were thought to know one another, and the alleged attack was being investigated as targeted.

The three other men, who are from Smethwick and Oldbury, which are both close to Birmingham, and are 17 and 16 years old, have been charged with the same crime. The two 16-year-old boys are also accused of possessing an offensive weapon in a private setting and of possessing Class A drugs with the intent to provide them. Following their appearance at Hatfield Remand Court on Thursday, three of the lads were placed under remand to return to court on November 13.On October 12, officers still wanted to talk to anyone who might have witnessed unusual activity close to the recreation area.
