Fuller Davis Printing in Ipswich given prohibition notice

Fuller Davis Printing in Ipswich given prohibition notice.

An Ipswich company has been issued a restriction notice by a fire and rescue group for violating criteria.

Fuller Davis Printing, of Baird Close, received the notice after failing to fulfil the required fire safety criteria.

On July 29, the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), which represents the professional interests of UK fire and rescue services, issued the notice.

The NFCC determined that Fuller Davis Printing’s fire alarm and detection system was insufficient, and their means of escape for sleeping on the premises were inadequate.

In response to its findings, the NFCC issued a ban notice, which went into effect immediately.

The prohibition states that no sleeping, dwelling, or relaxing may occur on the premises. A ban notice issued by the NFFC is valid for three years unless it is declared non-compliant or revoked by the serving authority.

KNP Litho, based in Bury St Edmunds, took Fuller Davis Printing out of administration in July 2023 after the company struggled financially due to Covid.
