What Morgan Gibbs-White was spotted doing towards the Nottingham Forest fans as Tottenham watch on
With his future still up in the air after Tottenham’s offer, Morgan Gibbs-White played for Nottingham Forest in their first preseason match.
When the 25-year-old England midfielder departed the field at the end of the first half, fans screamed his name, and he responded with a heart gesture.
In light of Tottenham’s interest, Forest is thinking about pursuing legal action to determine whether a particular confidentiality provision in Gibbs-White’s £60 million release clause has been broken.
Defender Ola Aina said Gibbs-White, who was substituted at halftime, was “keeping it professional” following the goalless draw with Monaco.
“Morgan is a professional,” he said to Sky Sports. He was here today, playing, exercising with us, and maintaining his usual level of fitness, but I’m not really familiar with the specifics of that.”
“We are all professionals at the end of the day. Morgan is now keeping things professional because we have a task to complete.
