Haywards Heath Iceland store reopens today after ‘substantial upgrade’.
The Iceland store in Haywards Heath has reopened following a significant renovation.
The shop on Haywards Road closed earlier this year for refurbishment and reopened on Thursday, February 26.
Iceland Foods announced a’substantial overhaul’ to improve the shopping experience.
The changes include new self-service checkouts, improved fixtures and fittings, a revamped façade and shop front, and a reworked layout for simpler navigation.

The shop’s façade has also been renovated.
Kristian Barrett, Iceland Foods’ chief operating officer, stated: “Our focus is on upgrading our stores to provide customers with the best shopping experience possible, and the Haywards Heath revamp is a crucial step in that direction.
We’re excited to open the doors to the newly renovated store. Every update, including a brighter layout, enhanced fixtures, and intelligent new features, is intended to make shopping easier, simpler, and more pleasurable.
The Haywards Heath store is also honouring front-line employee Amanda Campbell, who has been there for 27 years.
Amanda stated, “I’ve worked at the Haywards Heath shop for nearly three decades, holding positions ranging from Home Delivery Coordinator to Online Picker and Chilled Colleague
. I’ve opted to stay all these years because the job provides genuine convenience and stability, but more significantly because of the profound relationships I’ve formed with both colleagues and local customers along the road. This shop is an integral element of the local community.
“For me, what makes Iceland unique is simple: the people I work with every day and the customers who walk through our doors.” Those ties are what make this town unique. Looking ahead, I’m delighted for shoppers to enjoy the renovation; the new layout will revitalise the in-store experience for both customers and employees.”
