Hove: Former dry cleaners set to become micropub.
A old dry cleaners is about to become a micropub. In June, Brighton and Hove City Council received plans to convert 15 Victoria Terrace, Hove, from a dry cleaners to a micropub and bottle shop.
Beerbelly Ltd’s application states:
“We would like to change the use of this building from retail to sui generis to create a micropub and bottle shop under the business name Beerbelly Ltd.”
According to files, “not much change to the building will be needed” save for “an upgrade to the toilet and the installation of a cold room downstairs and beer lines to reach an upstairs small bar area” .
It claims that the property was originally used as a dry cleaners but is currently vacant.
The council approved the plans on September 25.
