Huddersfield Town have ‘progressed massively’ since I first signed for the Terriers.

Murray Wallace, a Town defender, has been impressed with the behind-the-scenes advances.

Murray Wallace, a Huddersfield Town defender, says the club has “progressed massively” off the pitch since his last spell with the Terriers.

Wallace returned to Town in the summer after a seven-year spell at Millwall. The 32-year-old previously played for the Terriers from 2012 to 2016.

In a news conference last week, the summer recruit, who led the side to a 6-2 EFL Trophy triumph over Newcastle United under-21s in midweek, said: “I’m really enjoying it; it’s good to be back.

“There are a few recognisable faces, and there have clearly been many changes since my last visit here.

The club has made tremendous development in terms of infrastructure and facilities, and it is a fantastic place to be.

Things have changed significantly, and all for the better. “I obviously loved my time at Millwall, but I think as well it’s good to keep testing yourself, and a fresh challenge, which is something I’ve been looking forward to.”

Wallace joined Town in January 2012, but was loaned back to Falkirk for the rest of the season.
