Ms Oliver stated, “As an Independent, I’ve found much common ground with Green Party councillors in Norwich and elsewhere.” “We are committed to community-led decision-making, transparency, and accountability.

“They have a great track record of prioritising people and the environment, including maintaining public services, promoting affordable housing, encouraging active transport, and defending our rights to clean air and open places.

“As the new Green Party leader, Zack Polanski offers credible hope that things can improve. I believe that the best position for me to advocate positive change is on the Green benches.

“I continue to have great respect for my Independent colleagues and am happy to confirm that we will still be working together for the residents of Town Close.”
