Investigation set to begin after fire engulfs home.
An investigation is set to begin following a fire that saw flames and smoke rise from the top floor of a domestic property in Hove.
The East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) said it was called to Egmont Road around 19:00 BST on Saturday, with six fire engines on scene at the time of the blaze.
Local residents were advised to close their windows and doors, and the general public was asked to avoid the area while crews worked on the scene.
ESFRS reported that Sussex Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were also present.
According to a spokesperson for the fire service, crews have since left.
