Ipswich Town: QPR manager Julien Stephan praises Blues ahead of clash.
QPR manager Julien Stephan has conducted thorough research on Ipswich Town ahead of tomorrow’s meeting, underlining why he believes they are the best team in the Championship.
The Blues are two points behind the R’s coming into the match at Loftus Road. Stephan, on the other hand, believes that Town has been unlucky this season, and that their performances deserve higher outcomes.
“I’ve watched all of their games since the beginning of the season,” the Frenchman admitted. “At first, some of them were unlucky with the results because they are always dominant on the pitch.
“It’s a team that can use the ball effectively to create opportunities and counter-press, and they’re well-organised defensively. They don’t give up many chances; in fact, they are second in the league in terms of fewest chances conceded.
Coventry are leading, with QPR coming in third. “We know we’ll be up against a good block and a good organisation.
“I understand that when you’re not very lucky, especially in the early games, you can lose some points. I have to mention that they have one less game to play, against Blackburn.
“We know they have good momentum right now, and they have scored a lot of points in recent weeks. We need to play an excellent game.”
This game will be a tough test for QPR, who are anticipating a sell-out crowd at Loftus Road, where their record is two victories, two draws, and one defeat.

It will be difficult for Stephan to defeat a team that has been demoted from the top division, but it will also be difficult to put on a performance that the supporters will be ‘proud’ of.
“To play against a team relegated from the Premier League is a big, big, big challenge – always,” he told reporters.
“Over the last two, three, or four years, I believe at least two relegated teams were promoted shortly after. “It’s a tremendous challenge. However, playing at home in front of your fans is yet another significant hurdle.
They know it will be difficult, but they need to see a brave team, a team that will give their all from the first whistle till the last one.
“They should be proud at the end of the game.” I want the supporters to be proud of what we accomplished on the pitch at the end of each game. “For me, this is a major problem.
Following that, we have no idea what will happen on the pitch. Of course, we plan to win and play well, but our supporters must be proud of us. It is really crucial. “To me, it’s a double challenge.
A double major challenge for us, the players, the staff, and everyone at the club since we’re playing against a relegated team, so possibly a team that will finish very high in the table, and we play at home – at Loftus Road – with our fans.
“We have to enjoy it because that is why we do this work. We have to have fun, but we must also recognise that this is a responsibility.
