Jimmy Thelin sends Aberdeen fans a message over pyro closure threat as he speaks out on SPFL sanction.
Jimmy Thelin tells Red Army not to sell Aberdeen short on pyro as he sends a clear message to fans following the SPFL charge.
Jimmy Thelin has urged the Red Army to keep pyrotechnics out of Pittodrie. The Scottish Football League has charged the Dons, Celtic, and Partick Thistle.
The Red Shed is facing partial closure if any more pyrotechnics are set off before the end of the season, and Thelin has urged his fans not to underestimate their team.
He stated, “We try to do it together so that everyone can go to the games in the future. They (Red Shed) create an excellent atmosphere. “Just follow these rules so that everyone can attend every game; we need everyone there.
We need all of the supporters to be able to attend Pittodrie.” The Dons face Celtic at home on Sunday for the first time since winning the Scottish Cup and denying the Hoops a treble.
It was a significant moment for the Dons to finally beat Brendan Rodgers. Thelin replied, “Yes.” It is always critical to win difficult games against Celtic throughout the season.
“We had one draw away, a 1-0 loss at home, and then several significant losses in the remaining games. “At that point, we realised we needed to change something for the final.
“In that time it was our time to win so let’s see what happens on Sunday.” The Swede changed his tactics for Hampden and defeated Rodgers’ men, who had been dismantled 5-1 at Pittodrie in the league.
When asked how he turned things around, Thelin replied, “Maybe you should ask the players. “We were very focused and changed some tactics and strategies in the game, building a belief around them.
