Kieron Bowie and Josh Mulligan Hibs futures addressed as David Gray quizzed on transfer speculation.
He has encouraged them to push for the Scotland World Cup squad. David Grey is sure that Hibs talents Kieron Bowie and Josh Mulligan will not get carried away with January rumours.
Wolves, a struggling English Premier League team, scouted the Scotland striker after he scored in the Edinburgh derby.
Mulligan has also been connected with Premier League rivals Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, as well as Celtic.
Grey stated, “I believe all the two can do is continue doing what they are doing. So, I believe they should continue to work hard, as this is the most important benefit.
“I say it all the time about them two is they’re getting all the plaudits at the moment because of their level of performance, but they’re really hard-working, humble boys that are enjoying their football.”That is the most crucial thing. Their carrot will still be there for them.
They will continue to try to force their way into Scotland’s squad. “All they can do is maintain improving their individual performance and contributing to the team as much as possible.
I believe that if they can accomplish that, we will undoubtedly have other players.Speculation will always be present.
“There’s nothing you can do about that, but you need to keep your feet on the ground and keep working hard.” Bowie missed the win over Aberdeen due to illness, but he is expected to be fine for the Kilmarnock game.
Hibs are unlikely to have Martin Boyle, who limped out of the game with a hamstring injury. Grey believes Hibs are in a solid position heading into 2026 and has promised that they will only get stronger.
