Lee Hendrie identifies the players from Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, and Birmingham City you should keep an eye on.

Pundit Lee Hendrie claims that Gustavo Hamer of Sheffield United, Finn Azaz of Middlesbrough, and Tommy Doyle of Birmingham City might all be thrilling to see in the Championship the next season.

Doyle was signed by Birmingham on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers after the team defeated Sunderland and Wrexham. The deal was initially exclusively revealed by FLW last month.

The Midlands squad will have to make a permanent acquisition of the midfield player the following summer if they are to achieve their ambition of promotion to the Premier League.

During Middlesbrough’s dismal season, which saw them finish in tenth place in the standings, Azaz was among their better players. Building on his double-figure goal and assist totals from the previous campaign is what he will be aiming to do.

Hamer, a midfielder for Sheffield United, scored 10 goals and provided eight assists in 46 appearances last season, helping his team advance to the play-off final.

However, the 28-year-old is apparently attracting interest from Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven, and the Blades could lose him after missing out on promotion. Along with Doyle, Azaz, and Hamer, Hendrie also named Louie Barry as a player to keep an eye on next season.

According to rumors, the Aston Villa forward is very close to joining his former Hull City manager Ruben Selles on loan at Sheffield United.

An interesting accusation involving Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, and Sheffield United is made by Lee Hendrie.

In an exclusive interview with Football League World, Hendrie admitted that Doyle, Azaz, Hamer, and Barry would all be under pressure to perform well for their sides the next season, but he still thought all four players would be among the best in the Championship.

Tommy Doyle was signed by Birmingham City, and when you look at players, you see that he has the potential to be a prominent player for them this season and in the Championship, Hendrie said.

Although he has a lot to demonstrate, I think teams will see him as a player who can dominate games since he is a fantastic player.

“Finn Azaz was outstanding last season; he shown his ability to step up, and his goals and assists were very beneficial to Middlesbrough.

“I believe he has a lot to show and will have a very significant season, even if he was heavily linked to leaving.

“Gustavo Hamer was the Championship player of the year, in my opinion, therefore I was also going to mention him.

Even though you think he should win the championship, it’s unclear if he will actually stay.

Additionally, Louie Barry ought to be mentioned. “I believe he has a lot to prove, and if he joins Sheffield United, he could undoubtedly score a significant amount of points this season in the Championship.”

The greatest Championship trade of the summer may be Tommy Doyle’s move to Birmingham City.

Given that Sheffield United, Birmingham, and Middlesbrough are all expected to be in the running for promotion, it is difficult to argue with Hendrie that Doyle, Azaz, Hamer, and Barry will all be players to keep an eye on in the Championship the following season.

However, with Blues owner Tom Wagner publicly announcing that the team is aiming for back-to-back promotions the next season, their significant financial resources, and the well-known presence of Tom Brady on the board, there may be more eyes on happenings at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

Doyle is possibly the Championship’s greatest summer recruit to date, despite the fact that Kyogo Furuhashi, who arrived from Rennes in a move worth up to £10 million, garnered more media attention for his arrival.

He hopes to clinch automatic promotion from the division with Birmingham the following season, having already done so with Sheffield United.
