Liam Manning reveals Norwich City’s missing piece the Canaries need to discover

Liam Manning reveals Norwich City’s missing piece the Canaries need to discover.

Liam Manning is four games into his Norwich City stay, and the club has had a mixed start to the season, winning and losing two.

The Canaries manager has introduced several new faces to Carrow Road in order to give his tactical style the best chance of success at Norwich.

Manning may consider that keeping Josh Sargent was a huge achievement before to the international window; but, despite his loving letter upon his departure, Marcelino Nunez went for fierce rivals Ipswich Town, which will be disappointing.

Now, the Norwich City boss has addressed the next stage of his club’s revolution and what the Canaries require.

Liam Manning wants his side to become ‘streetwise’

While Liam Manning has already stated that the club has no plans to add to the roster before the transfer deadline, Norwich City may make further signings.

The manager now wants to concentrate on his side, and he believes that the most essential thing is to improve their mentality and educate them how to be’streetwise’.

Speaking to Pink Un, he stated, “We need to be a little more streetwise. “We’re what, five games in? I envision a new squad that will undergo significant change.

We need to learn rapidly if we want to win. Sometimes you have to put up with frustrating, challenging results in order to acquire toughness and resilience. To learn how to win.

“Blackburn provided the lads with the validation they needed for their current performance. It was another experience that will help us build trust, make connections, and strengthen the group.”

Norwich City’s start to the season

Liam Manning has addressed Norwich City’s start to the season, in which they won two and lost two Championship games.

He says that, while he would have preferred to win all four matches, he is not disappointed by the loss given Norwich’s results thus far this season.

Manning stated, “If I’d come away from games we’d lost saying, ‘We’re a million miles behind the opposition,’ I’d have been a little more concerned.”

“But I believe that the fact that we dominated performance for long periods of time is a plus, because it is up to us to change that.

Not giving goals away or ensuring that we are merciless on the other end. “It’s fantastic to play a specific style, but you’re doing it to win a game, so at those transition periods, how are we harder to beat? How do we avoid turning the ball over easily? How do we all deal with pressure?

“When we talk about pressure, we don’t say ‘them and us’ because we’re all in this together. I believe that is the essential point.

The players are desperate to succeed, and our roles are to guide and educate them. There is a lot to be enthusiastic about in terms of the group’s future path.”
