The competition will take place in Morocco from December 21 to January 18. Should Egypt make it to the final, Salah might really miss up to eight Liverpool games across all competitions if it is decided that he can rejoin the team following the Brighton encounter.
Liverpool and Manchester United in a transfer war
According to reports, Manchester United and Liverpool are vying for Hertha Berlin prodigy Kennet Eichhorn. With six starts in the German second division, the 16-year-old defensive midfielder is enjoying the beginning of his breakout season.
According to Bild, a German tabloid, Hertha has set an asking price of £17 million for the adolescent, who signed a new contract in the summer. But Liverpool will have a lot of competition to recruit the young player, including United.
Scouts from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, and numerous more teams are reportedly monitoring Eichhorn. Eichhorn, who has been compared to Toni Kroos, is more than holding his own in Hertha’s midfield despite his young age.
“He is an incredible, exceptional talent,” observed Fabian Reese of Hertha during Eichhorn’s debut. “Every door will be open to him if he keeps acting in this manner. Seldom have I seen someone so gifted at that age. He has a bright future ahead of him.
“I couldn’t care less whether he’s 16 or 17,” manager Stefan Leitl continued. He has a great deal of talent for Hertha. You could glimpse what we would expect from him in the upcoming years in many of his behaviors. He did a fantastic job, and I have total faith in his talents.”
