Hatters boss concedes could depart Kenilworth Road.

Luton manager Matt Bloomfield has admitted that custodian Jack Walton may be allowed to leave Kenilworth Road following the signing of Tottenham Hotspur youngster Josh Keeley this morning.

The 27-year-old joined the Hatters for an undisclosed fee from Barnsley in January 2023, but has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Dundee United, During his first stint with the Tangerines, he helped them reach the Scottish Premier League, and last season, they finished fourth in the highest tier of Scottish football.

With Hatters’ first choice Thomas Kaminski recently joining newly promoted Championship side Charlton Athletic, it was expected that Walton, who signed a new one-year contract at Kenilworth Road in the summer, would compete with James Shea for the number one jersey this season, having appeared in a number of Town’s pre-season friendlies.
