Man, 25, suffers serious injuries after hit-and-run on Dundee Kingsway.
Officers filed an appeal when the automobile failed to stop.
A 25-year-old guy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on the Kingsway in Dundee.
Emergency services were dispatched to the Kingsway, near the roundabout junction with Myrekirk Road, when a man was hit by a car about 11.35 p.m. on Thursday.
The man was sent to Ninewells Hospital following the incident. His injuries are regarded as severe but not life-threatening.
The car did not stop at the site and was described as a grey or blue hatchback-style vehicle.
Police Scotland has issued an appeal for information.
Hunt for car after Kingsway hit and run
Sergeant Paul Hardie stated: “Our investigations are continue to determine the exact facts, and we are hoping to locate the driver of the vehicle involved.
“I am requesting anyone who was in the neighbourhood at the time and saw what happened to contact us.
Any drivers with dash-cam footage that could help our investigations are also encouraged to contact us.”
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police, using incident 2858 from December 5.
