Man dies on tracks at Edgware station.
A man tragically died on the tracks at Edgware Underground station this morning, prompting emergency services to respond.
A number of emergency vehicles were sighted outside the station at 7:30 a.m. A representative for British Transport Police stated, “Officers were called at around 7.20 a.m. today, Wednesday, September 3, to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Edgware Underground station.”
“Officers arrived with paramedics, but regrettably, a person was pronounced dead on the site.
The occurrence is not being investigated as suspicious, and a report will be produced for the coroner.

A London Ambulance Service representative stated: “We were summoned at 7.17 a.m. today (3 September) to reports of an incident at Edgware Underground Station in Edgware.
“We responded to the scene with an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a paramedic in a quick response car.
“The first paramedic arrived in less than two minutes. “Very sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The incident caused significant disruption on the Northern Line, resulting in severe delays between Edgware and Camden Town. Other segments of the line continued to operate normally.
