A man in his 70s perishes in a city home fire

A house fire in Norwich claimed the life of a man. Just before 13:30 GMT on Thursday, emergency personnel were rushed to Spynke Road, off Aylsham Road.

A guy in his 70s who was in the residence passed away at the scene, according to a Norfolk Police spokesperson, and the death is not currently being investigated as suspicious. While personnel conduct an investigation, a police cordon has been erected around the home.
