More than 40 cars taken off Luton streets in uninsured driver crackdown.

Officers in Luton confiscated over 40 vehicles as part of an operation to target uninsured and unlicensed drivers.

Multiple individuals were reported for driving without a valid licence, and 42 vehicles were impounded by police for lack of insurance.

The Luton Community Policing Team stated that “uninsured driving is not only illegal, but also dangerous.” It endangers other drivers and jeopardises public safety in our towns.

Our officers are working relentlessly to remove these vehicles from the road and hold the perpetrators responsible. “We will continue to take action against those who ignore the law.”
