New accommodation earmarked for historic Suffolk hotel

New accommodation earmarked for historic Suffolk hotel.

A historic hotel’s bar and restaurant could be turned into new rooms. Plans to revitalise the Blyth Hotel in Southwold include the addition of new self-catering studio accommodations.

The former freehold bar, located in an Edwardian structure on the corner of Station Road and Pier Avenue in Southwold, was built in 1901.

Adnams had owned the former Blyth Hotel freehold for several years until listing it for sale in November last year, with offers in excess of £750,000.
