New photos show how Cannon Brewery in Sheffield will look – and how it looks today.

This shows the future design of Sheffield’s Cannon Brewery, as well as how it now appears. The demolition of the historic Neepsend site will be completed next month, allowing construction to begin later this year, according to developers.

Capital&Centric is developing a £150 million plan for 500 apartments, offices, a cinema, cafes, restaurants, and public areas.

According to the report, the neighbourhood is already taking shape. Club de Padel plans to establish courts and a new social space “well before” the residences are constructed.

Neepsend Brewery was established in 1838 and renamed Cannon Brewery in 1868 after being purchased by William Stones. Stones Bitter was made on-site since 1948 and was popular among steelworkers. It closed in 1999.500 homes, offices and public space are planned on the site in Neepsend.
