Approximately 10,000 travelling Toon Army members have crossed the border for the glamour friendly.
Newcastle United supporters have invaded Glasgow ahead of their friendly against Celtic.
And some of the travelling Toon Army has joined supporters of their pre-season rivals. A photo shared on social media shows the Bristol Bar, a die-hard Rangers pub, covered in Newcastle flags.
The boozer in the city’s east end is near Celtic Park, where the Geordies will play their big match.
Oswalds Bar, a Rangers pub in the city centre, also welcomed Newcastle fans who lived nearby.
On X, they wrote, “Our famous Glasgow landmark is a Geordie for the day ‘Geordie Boys are taking over’.”
“It was a pleasure to have the ‘Glasgow Mags Rangers & Newcastle Supporters Club’ at Oswalds today before they went to the Duke of Wellington and changed the iconic cone to a black and white one. “P.S. You better bring our Gazza masks back tonight.”
Approximately 10,000 Newcastle United fans have purchased tickets for the game against Celtic, and you can follow the action on our LIVE blog.
